“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”
Where is the valley of the shadow of death? It is an apt description of all life. Every moment of our human experience is spent in the shadow of death. It is the greatest illusion of limitation and separation the ego mind uses to insist that we are finite beings moving ever closer to the inevitability of death.
I will fear no evil, I affirm to my spiritual Beingness for thou art with me. In the simple fact that I AM the creative power of God in expression, the possibility of death is refuted, the shadows lose their power and fear is dissolved.
Today, no matter how lost I might feel, I know that the Lord, the divine Beingness within me, is lovingly guiding and directing me with the rod and staff of strength and divine order. I AM divine Beingness, even in the shadows of this valley of human experience, and I am comforted.
