An Election Prayer

A national election is one of the most powerful expressions of collective consciousness available to us. Beyond choosing one or another slate of candidates, we are affirming a creative intention that will express broadly in the life experience we share. That’s why voting is so very important.

Obviously, such a significant creative choice will only contribute to the furthering of our shared spiritual purpose if it is made carefully and deliberately, centered in the indwelling Presence of divine light and love, and with the clear intention that the choice we make will bring that Christ energy into manifestation.

So vote! Don’t look from a perspective of limitation and see only one insignificant tally in a vast electoral process. See voting as it truly is – a sacred ritual and a creative responsibility of the first order. Know that no matter which candidate you are guided to choose, that choice activates the creative process within you, and expresses as an energy of peace, prosperity and divine guidance that will become our shared experience in years to come.

Let this be your affirmation as you stand patiently in line, waiting for your chance to choose:

I AM making a divinely-guided choice to create peace, safety, abundance and joy in my life, in our nation, and in the world. I make my choice from a heart-centered energy of love and respect. I give thanks that through this choice anger is dissolved, resentments are healed, and people everywhere embrace their innate Oneness, with God and with each other.
